Rebranding is never easy. when unrd Pivoted, their aim was to be known as the first and only crime-based gaming studio in the world. the brief? to sell the vision to new investors, new starters and players alike.

Unsolved needed a video that captured potential investors’ attention, and sold the vision to new employees. But with crime, people need evidence.

To do that, we showed how big the genre was growing in every other medium. Leaving one space, that was still unexplored: mobile gaming.

welcoming new recruits

The first weeks in a new job and the time leading up to your start date, define your opinion of any company. So we created a full onboarding process that welcomed new recruits to a life of crime.

By telling the company’s story so far, and outlining the vision for the future, team members started day one fully invested and raring to go.

I ALSO OVERSAW THE DESIGN AND COPY ACROSS ALL BRANDED MERCH FOR THE COMPANY. THESE WERE SENT A FEW DAYS BEFORE EACH EMPLOYEES START DATE WHERE THEY WERE ENCOURAGES TO SHARE THEIR EXCITEMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS.

SHARING THE PASSION

FANS AND OUR TEAM WERE BIG CRIME LOVERS. WE WANTED A TONE THAT EMBRACED THAT. WE REFERRED TO OUR TEAM & CUSTOMERS AS ‘DETECTIVES’ ACROSS EXTERNAL COMMS, FROM THE COMPANY WEBSITE TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAILS.
